Using a base of Gesso and PVA with a dash of powder. This is acrylic on board. With a few other touches of PVA. in the acrylic and metallic paint. # Highland Cow. #rainbow
Under this paint is a layer of Gesso. 
One layer did not give me enough so I added more Gesso, powder and PVA. 
This shows the texture of the painting.
